ITSO SSIG Inaugural Meeting
13th May 2008

The first meeting of the Supplier Special Interest Group (SSIG) was held at the DfT in London on the 13th May 2008. The meeting was very well attended by representatives from all corners of the Supplier Sector. 

This group is an independent forum for the ITSO Supplier Members and will provide a two way communications channel between the suppliers and ITSO board, via the Supplier Directors. At the meeting it was agreed to set up three working groups to look at technical and operational issues, including messaging, list management and new customer media.

At the March meeting of the ITSO Suppliers' Group, Emtran's managing partner Tony Emery, was ratified as one of the three ITSO director representing the supplier sector.

Tony's main focus will be to:-
·         Help ensure that ITSO's thinking is ‘joined-up’ 
·         Represent the interests of fellow suppliers
·         Improve communication throughout the Supplier Membership
